A week ago I was asked to write a blog for @CampoRetro about Arsenal’s winning run in 1994’s Cup Winners Cup.
The reward for my efforts was a rather wonderful classic-style Arsenal shirt – I’m actually wearing it whilst I type – and I couldn’t be happier with it. Those of you that read this blog regularly will now I’m not the gushy, sycophantic type, but I can highly recommend their products should you be on the look out for a present for a football fan you know.
They don’t just do Arsenal shirts; all the big teams across the UK and Ireland are represented with retro merchandise ranging from replica shirts of bygone eras to track jackets and much more.
Campo Retro also provided Daniel and I at The Goonersphere Podcast with another classic Arsenal shirt – this one is from the 1989 league winning game at Anfield – to give away to one of our listeners. The lucky recipient was Natasja Aitchison who was pleased as punch with her prize:
@GoonerspherePod THANK YOU!!

Here’s the shirt Natasja won:
Partnerships with companies, bloggers and other fans is one of the best things about doing this. You get to meet a lot of interesting and friendly characters who open you open to avenues and opportunities you may have missed. I’d like to thank Campo Retro for the recent mutually beneficial relationship we’ve developed and hope you’ll all take a moment to check out their stuff.
As always; thanks for reading, you beautiful bastards.
